Last summer I decided I would take it anymore. I brought a sewing machine and got to work. Through blogs, lots of google searches and hours on pinterest I have taught myself how to sew. Now I feel like im at a place to help others. I love being able to make the kids things. In this blog I will share my sewing knowledge (funny joke) and offer free patterns with picture tutorials. I will also show you how thrifting can be fun and very worth it. I love going thrifting !!
If you like my blog please comment and follow so I wont get discouraged and stop blogging lol
Yay!!! I've been seeing your posts on BBC and hoping you would start a blog :)
ReplyDeleteYayyyyyyy!
ReplyDeleteI love thrifting too! I made a ring sling carrier from a bed sheet from the thrift store and I made all my babies cloth diaper soakers and flats from thrift store sheets. I make my sons pants from adult pants using my altered version of the MADE pattern. I just love thrifting like you, plus there's new stuff everyday! You cant beat that :) and you can find all the old school kids toys for cheap. Ugh now I want to go to Savers! Lol.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late with replying lol But I do love meeting fellow thrifting lovers....they're aren't too many in my family. I haven't been to Savers...maybe I need to go there.
DeleteHey Sarita!
ReplyDeleteI wanna tutorial on how you make your sons skinny jeans!! As a fellow thrifter i never find any cute stuff where i live because we have only a walmart locally and if i wanna shop somewhere else i have to go out of town!!
I can do a tutorial on that for you ! You can never have too many pairs of skinny jeans! Be looking out for it ;)

DeleteSarita, I am so thrilled to see all of these young mothers sewing now!!! I am a grandmother that started sewing way before I had my own children but loved sewing for them and now my grandchildren. Can I motivate my daughter and daughter-in-law to sew???? Nope! But I am so happy to see all of ya'll keeping it up! Continue blogging....and sewing!! :)
